New Apparel For Freedivers By Hypoxia Outfitters
Spearfishing and freediving lifestyle apparel is the main focus of Hypoxia Outfitters, a new company on the market. Rob Pierce, the head of the enterprise, was born and raised in Hawaii, and he has been freediving nearly his whole life. A web developer and graphic designer by trade, he would make T-shirts on trips for his friends, “and then people would see them and say, ‘Oh, where’d you get the shirt?’ At some point I put together a little website and a few designs on there and “it just kind of took on a life of its own,” he says. Hypoxia Outfitters has seen its grow very quickly in the past few months, having already set up distribution in 16 countries.
During the last months the company has been researching and designing new apparel and some other products which appeared due to the cooperation with the company’s fans. Hypoxia Outfitters has recently begun producing 100% hardwood bamboo sunglasses fully polarized lenses that float if you happen to lose them overboard.
Besides apparel, the company has a two-piece spearfishing wetsuit design currently in prototyping and it should become one of the most affordable options at the market, to help encourage newcomers to the sport who can’t justify spending $300-400 on a suit.
Hypoxia Outfitters is launching its new website in some days and currently it provides 20% discount for the next order.
